Diary of a Boy Gardener

We are in the Berkshires, the beautiful rolling hills of western Massachusetts where the season is short and the frosts sometimes win. Visit Sally and David's Gardens and see how two old farts spend their time helping what plants they can find their place in this world.

Storm Coming In

Hi diary,
During the last few weeks Sally Jane has planted lots of flats of all kinds vegetables and flowers. They are on the window sills and in the greenhouse. It's been quite a warm spell, then a few days ago a return to colder, normal early-mid March weather. But at this very moment it appears a norEaster is about to bury us under a foot or two of snow.
David has been busy on a fun project, The Address Book, which is a php driven tool written by Lou, a young student in California. David adapted it for Sonix use and then ported 1400 records from MS Outlook into it and now all 6 employees can use it from wherever they be. Since then he is active making other mods to it, keeping his brain active before all that physical garden stuff takes over.
See you soon.
